Product Description:
The new Hacker A50 V2 Series brushless motors are designed for 10 to 15 cc size RC planes and helicopters. Intended as a direct replacement for nitro engines, you can use this motor to power your 2 to 6 kg model with quiet, clean and efficient electric power. Ideal for pattern and 3D capable models, this powerful and efficient 16-pole "Outrunner" Brushless motor design creates massive torque, which will allow you to direct drive larger props without needing a gearbox.
The new version 2 Hacker motors are slightly shorter than their predecessors, and also have the front bearing removed. These improvements make the motors lighter and more efficient, while keeping performance specs the same as the version 1 line. There is also an integrated cooling fan on the rear of the motor, replacing the removable fan found in v1 motors. This allows the use of a prop adapter on the rear of the motor without having to remove the fan. Aside from having to use shorter standoffs for mounting, this motor is a drop-in replacement for the v1 series.
The Hacker A50-16S V2 motor features oversized bearings, curved Neo-magnets, and uses high-efficiency stator design. Additionally you will find a special large concentric bearing located in the rotor to support the rotating mass during extreme 3D manoeuvres. A cooling fan is integrated into the motor to provide proper motor cooling for closed cowling or helicopter applications. This motor features an integrated 8mm threaded shaft and prop adapter for superior reliability.
