Product Description:
The SX3 RC airplane can fly 3D aerobatics indoors and outdoors. This SX3 EPP foam RC airplane ships
completely assembled. The wing is mounted, servos are installed,
control surfaces are hinged, and the linkages are complete.
First, install the receiver, ESC, motor, and battery, then
go flying! Includes 3 pre-installed 6 gram servos. Our Pre-Built SX3's are made of the
highest quality EPP foam, it is considerably lighter and
more resistant to tearing than other EPP foams. You will
feel the difference.
The SX3 rc airplane design is highly refined, it utilizes fiber tape where testing has shown it is
needed; flat carbon fiber in the ailerons, horizontal
stabilizer, elevator, and rudder; and a clear
tape-sheeted fuselage crossmember.
Internal access is a breeze, the bottom of the fuselage is held
together with high-quality velcro from the rear of the
wing through to the front of the fuselage. This allows
unrestricted access to the motor, receiver, and ESC.
The top of the fuselage has a 5" length of velcro to
allow access to the aileron servo and. For long life,
the fuselage is held together with extra tape where the
velcro ends.
The SX3 is designed to fly
beautifully, it is stable in forward flight, and
doesn't all-too-readily fall into steep alpha flight
like most flat foam airplanes. Extreme fuselage side
and rudder area make the SX3 very comfortable in knife
edge flight.

This plane is so cool. Great 3D flying characteristics and settles down nicely for landing. This plane works great inverted or straight and level, handles the same either way.

What a great plane. Ready to fly out of the box in much less time than it took to charge the battery. I have been flying gas aircraft for years and electric for a couple. I wanted to learn to fly 3D and the SX3 looked like the plane I needed to learn with. It has been everything I wanted and more. It is a blast to fly, and my errors have been forgiven each time by just picking the aircraft up and flying away. The airplane is so light that in most cases if i get in trouble I just add power and fly away. The SX3 is really forgiving and has great flight performance. It will keep me entertained for many hour to come. I just hope to have more warm, calm days to fly.

Fun, and More Fun! |

The SX3 is a fun RC airplane to fly, and a fun airplane to own. It's fun to fly because of its very large side-area and rudder, oversized stabilizer, airfoiled wing, and low wing loading. It's fun 3D airplane to own because you'll spend all your time flying and none of your time fixing.
Enjoy those low and slow high-alpha knife-edge runway passes, knowing that if you touch the wing-tip you'll just have to pick it up and launch it again. Go ahead, do that wicked flat spin right into the dust. Then pick it up and throw it like a frisbee and do it again, inverted this time.
How durable is it? I wanted to find out, but regular 'woops, I should have been five feet higher before I tried that' crashes weren't cutting it. The SX3 survived them all. I got fed up, and did a lawn-dart (stall turn, then straight down all the way into the floor) crash from 20ft into a gym floor. This was more useful. The receiver crystal flew out the front end - along with the lipo battery - and a 2" tear appeared near the front of the fuselage. The tear was inconsequential. The lipo had a nice big dent in one corner. I put the crystal and lipo back in, tossed it, and went back to my indoor rolling circles.
I call it uninteruptable fun. Draganfly calls it SX3.
Oh, and with the plane already assembled and servos and linkages installed, the fun begins much sooner than usual.

If you are thinking of getting into 3D aerobatics get this airplane is awsome. It just bends when you crash.Quality of the EPP constuction is very nice.I'm using a Hacker A20 and Pheonix 10 controller.Knife edge flight is straight and true.
