The Draganflyer r/c helicopter just got better; with the new Draganflyer Stabilized Aerial Video System (SAVS) it has never been easier or more economical to create superior, professional quality, aerial video. The SAVS takes up the slack where full size aircraft fall short, low level and close up video. For everything from real estate to surveillance or music videos the SAVS will excel with its high resolution CCD wireless video camera and anti-vibration mounting system. The complete Draganflyer SAVS comes pre-assembled with a wireless video camera system, transmitter, batteries and charger all packaged in two compact, custom built hard-shell cases. Built on the tested and proven Draganflyer V Ti platform and equipped with a high resolution CCD video camera and numerous state of the art features the Draganflyer SAVS is one of the most high-tech aerial video system in the world.

The Draganflyer SAVSs' unprecedented video quality is due to several improvements that have been added onto the SAVS. Among these upgrades are the anti-vibration camera mount and a counter balance base plate which features 45 electronic components and filters to clarify the video signal. With the anti-vibration camera mount the video camera is able to "float" in mid-air away from the vibration of the helicopter frame. Also the camera and transmitter now both feature an independent, regulated power supply which means less "noise" and distortion. The Draganflyer SAVS also comes with a ground base station to receive the video signal. Loaded in this case is a diversity receiver (which uses two sets of reception circuitry) with two patch antennas, this setup provides amazing range and increases video clarity while reducing signal loss.

Not only does the Draganflyer SAVS provide amazing video, it is also exceptionally easy to fly, so easy in fact that you do not need previous r/c experience. The SAVS is equipped with Draganfly's patented Thermal Intelligence to provide additional flight stability when flown outdoors. If you lose orientation while flying simply release the right control stick and the infrared sensors will automatically bring the Draganflyer SAVS to a level hover. Every Draganflyer SAVS also utilizes three state-of-the-art piezo gyros to maintain stable flight. A new feature on the Draganflyer SAVS is the ability to switch between two different flying modes, video and active. Video mode is designed for training and shooting video, the helicopter will be less responsive and the possibility of over controlling is lessened. The active mode is more for recreational flying where the helicopter needs to be more responsive. To get you ready to fly, the Draganflyer SAVS kit also includes flight simulator software so you can learn to fly the helicopter from the comfort of your home without the risk of damaging parts. All of the features incorporated into the Draganflyer SAVS are guaranteed to accelerate the learning curve.

At just 30 inches in diameter and weighing in at 19 ounces the Draganflyer SAVS is small and light enough that it can safely be flown indoors and near large crowds. Despite the Draganflyer SAVSs' integrated flight stability systems crashes can and do occur once in a while, fortunately the SAVS is extremely durable and easy to repair. Its carbon fiber and high impact nylon frame construction make the Draganflyer SAVS virtually indestructible. The SAVS also features newly designed rotor blades that are much more efficient and more durable than the rotors previously used on the Draganflyer V Ti. In the event of a crash the lightweight airframe and semi-flexible rotor blades reduce damage to surrounding items and more importantly minimize the potential for human injury, which is a common fear with larger and heavier helicopters.
