Product Description:
The Eyecam Extreme RX Base Station Case is a purpose-built case. It comes ready to mount the Eyecam Extreme's receiver, receiver power battery, and a video storage device. We recommend a MiniDV-based recorder with LCD screen. It also has a pivoting hinge for mounting a patch antenna and holding it pointed in the direction you choose. Inner case dimensions, on the Eyecam Extreme RX Base Station Case, are 13.4" by 8.9" by 5.6".
The video from the Eyecam Extreme 460 lines of resolution CCD Video Camera approaches broadcast quality. While, VHS tape records only 240 lines, the MiniDV is barely capable of storing all of the information with its 500 lines. For this reason, MiniDV is the recommended storage medium.
This item includes the case (readied for Eyecam Extreme storage) and two carrying straps.
