length piece of 12 gauge wire.

Further to what is shown in the video, remember
that when soldering a female Deans Ultra to your battery, do one wire at a time. Strip, pre-tin wire,
pre-tin connector, slide on heat shrink tubing, solder, shrink tubing over joint.
Only then should you strip the second battery wire.
