Jörn raced for the first time representing team TPRC at the JConcepts Clash last weekend in Florida. The helicopter became a prominent military asset during the Korean conflict of the early 1950s. The United States Army started using helicopters for medical evacuation in order to increase the survival rate of critically wounded soldiers. Helicopters were used in conjunction with forward mobile army surgical hospitals (MASH units).

When many people think of helicopters being used for medical evacuation in Korea the Bell H13 Sioux (designated the Bell-47 by the US Army) is the one that most comes to mind. Most people know this helicopter as the MASH helicopter because of its important role in the TV series MASH. EF has come out with an amazing flying replica of this famous MASH helicopter.

Main Features of the EF MASH Rescue Chopper Indoor RTF RC Electric Helicopter

This way you will be flying the helicopter in no time.

This mini indoor electric helicopter has a coaxial rotor design which provides great stability, and eliminates the need for a separate tail rotor to control torque induced yaw (rotation around the main rotor axis). Coaxial RC electric helicopters are great for flying indoors, because they are both stable and offer precision control.

A 3.7 volt LiPo battery powers the EF MASH Rescue Chopper for a flight time of eight to ten minutes. The battery is charged in the controlled and takes about 30 minutes to charge. To get maximum enjoyment out of your helicopter it is a good idea to buy a spare battery for it. This way you can be charging a battery while flying and cut down your down time.

If you do happen to have a mishap and crash the MASH Rescue Chopper you will be amazed at how incredibly resilient it is. However things do and can break, but not to worry as a full line of inexpensive replacement parts are also offered for this helicopter.

With a four channel radio you can precisely control the Evo Flight Mini Stingers’ movement through all three dimensions. With a rotor size of 188mm (7.4”) and a length of 213mm (8.4”) this helicopter can easily fit in the palm of your hand.

The coaxial rotor design of the EVO Flight Mini Stinger provides this helicopter with great stability, and eliminates the need for a separate tail rotor to control yaw (rotation about the main rotor axis). The main rotors spin in opposite directions, canceling out rotor torque caused by their rotation. Coaxial RC helicopter are great for flying indoors, because of their stability and the precision control provided.

The Evo Flight Mini Stinger uses a tiny 1 cell lithium polymer battery for power. Unlike most micro RC helicopters, the battery is removable and interchangeable. Each cell provides 3.7 volts of power with a capacity of 110 mAh (Milli ampere hours). You charge the battery using the included transmitter, which runs off four “AA” alkaline batteries. A typical charge takes about 30 minutes and provides an average flight time of 6 to 8 minutes. Because the battery is interchangeable, we recommend that you purchase an extra so that you can use one while the other is charging.

Weighing only 1 ounce, the Evo Flight Mini Stinger is virtually crash proof. A sudden drop from a few feet above the ground won’t damage it, and in most cases minor collisions with walls are not a problem. Although it is not indestructible, the Evo Flights durability makes it an ideal present for anyone over 12 years of age.

Single Product Shipping Cost

If all you want to buy is one product we show you the price to ship just that product on every product and category page. Just click the link or button that says “Calculate Shipping” and it will show you the cheapest shipping price for that one product. Once you have more than one product in your Cart your shipping cost will be combined into one shipment. In other words, if you buy 2 or more products the shipping price is not always twice as much, it is usually only a little more. See “Combined Shipment Cost” below.

We always try to get you the cheapest shipping rates possible. Many times adding additional items to your cart does not increase the shipping cost. This way if you add accessories to your main product the accessories are basically free to ship in the same package. An easy way to find out how much different items will cost to ship to you is to first place the item or items into your shopping cart. Then, you will be able to press “Calculate Shipping” button on the shopping cart page to see how much the entire shipment will cost. On some products you can choose between up to 3 different shipping methods. You can also click on the “Estimated Delivery Time” link below those prices to see how long it will take with the different shipping options.

How do I shop here and purchase the products I want?

All our products are listed in specific categories. You can use the top navbar to locate the category you wish or use the navigation links on the left side of most pages. The left navigation is not displayed on the My Cart page or Checkout pages. For example click R/C Helicopters the click Bladerunner and all the Bladerunner products will display. Click the More Info link to get to that product’s page if you wish to see a detailed description, technical information, customer reviews and related parts and accessories for that product. Sometimes there are additional images and videos specific to that product on the product page as well. Once you find a product you would like to purchase, click the “Add to Cart” button and it will be added to your shopping Cart. Keep adding products to your Cart until you have all the products you desire then click the “Checkout” link near the shopping cart icon on all the pages or click the “My Cart” link and view all the products in your Cart. On the My Cart page there is a “Proceed to Checkout” button as well as the “Checkout” link. Click either the button or the link to begin the checkout process. All the Checkout steps are secure pages that are encrypted between our Web server and your computer so they are safe. The first Checkout step involves you providing Shipping and Billing information. The second Checkout step involves you choosing your Shipping and Payment methods as well as giving you the option to redeem a Gift Certificate and/or Coupon you may have. The third Checkout step involves you providing your payment information and paying for your order. Once you have paid you will receive an order thank you page with a summery of your order. You can print that page for your records. We will also get back to you via phone or email with a tracking number for your order.

How do I add a product to My Cart?

To add products to your Cart you need to find a product you like and click it’s “Add to Cart” button. You will find products on the category, product and search pages. For a brief overview of how to find products see the “How do I shop here and purchase the products I want?” help topic above.

How do I change the quantity of items in My Cart?

To change the quantity of items in your Cart you need to first click on the My Cart link to get to your Cart page. If you have products in your Cart a listing of all the products in your Cart will be displayed, otherwise you will see a message that says “There are no products added to your Cart yet”. Next to each product will be a quantity box that displays the number of each item in your cart as well as an “Update Qty.” button. Change the quantity displayed to the number you desire of that product then click the “Update Qty.” button for that product.

How do I delete/remove items in My Cart?

To change the quantity of items in your Cart you need to first click on the My Cart link to get to your Cart page. If you have products in your Cart a listing of all the products in your Cart will be displayed, otherwise you will see a message that says “There are no products added to your Cart yet”. To remove a product from your Cart click the “Remove” button belonging to that product.

There is no “Checkout” link displaying now. How do I checkout?

The “Checkout” link will display next to the shopping cart icon near the top right of all non-checkout pages under the main navigation bar only when you have at least 1 product in your Cart. Once you have at least 1 product in your Cart there will also be a “Proceed to Checkout” button on your My Cart page right under where it says SubTotal: and above where it says “Calculate Shipping”.
