HPI Vorza Li-Po Battery Selections

Do you want to give your HPI Vorza a huge boost in performance? The following Thunder Power RC lithium polymer batteries will work out of the box, with no modifications to your HPI Vorza RC buggy. All of these are known to work and have been tested in the real world by an actual RC car enthusiast. Note that the HPI Vorza only uses one battery, which is why it needs a single 4 cell pack. The HPI Savage Flux, on the other hand, uses a pair of 2 cell packs wired in series.

Economy Setup – TP4300-4SPR65D

This battery pack has a 40C continuous discharge capacity, which makes it a considerable improvement over the NiMh packs that the HPI Vorza comes with for a relatively small cost.

Mid Range Setup – TP5400-4SSR35D

The TP5400-4SSR35D is an upgrade from the economy setup. Although it can deliver 35C instead of 40C, the increase in capacity allows it to deliver more current and drive your HPI Vorza faster. The increase in capacity will also allow you to drive for a longer amount of time on a charge.

High Performance Setup – TP5000-6SPP65

If you’re looking for an insane amount of power that will push both you and your hardware to the limits, try a TP-5000-6SPP65. 6 cells of power a 5000 mAh capacity (with a 65C discharge!) combine to push the HPI Vorza past speeds at which most people are comfortable driving at.

High Endurance Setup – TP7800-4SPL25

For a slight weight increase, you can almost double the runtime of your HPI Vorza as compared to any of the above setups. The TP7800-4SPL25 has a huge capacity and can store enough energy to keep you driving for a long time between charges.
