10s eXtreme batteryNew Thunder Power eXtreme F3A pattern Li Polymer battery increases performance, reliability, and affordability: Thunder Power eXtreme Series 25C 10s 5000mAh.

Pattern pilots, Thunder Power has a new and better battery for you.
It’s based on eXtreme Series cell technology, which delivers more power and more reliability in a wider range of cell sizes. It’s the lithium polymer cell that pattern flying wants: incredible power density, extreme C-rate, high voltage under load (3.4V @ 25C), low heat production, and the perfect capacity.

This new battery benefits all of us. Capacity is just enough to fly the most demanding pattern flight, a P-07 schedule in a strong wind. At 1198g, it weighs just 80g (2.8oz) more than the last prolific pattern battery, the Pro Lite 5300mAh. It is much easier to mount in the airframe because it is a single pack. It is much less prone to overheating, its high voltage under load will increase the power of any motor, and its high C-rate puts the power limit squarely on the motor. Also, its dimensions, 84mm x 45mm x 166mm, are nearly identical to a pair of Pro Lite 5300mAh packs, so existing battery mounts should be easy to convert.

Don’t forget the charger and balancer
One requirement to keep in mind with this new battery is the charger. You need a charger that can charge a 10s pack, such as the Thunder Power TP1010C. It is also a good idea to always charge with a balancer, so you should also have a 10s balancer, like the TP210V.
