Hacker Brushless Motors
Hacker has two lines of electric brushless motors: inrunners and outrunners. An inrunner brushless motor has stationary windings close to the outside of the motor, and the rotating magnet at the center. Hacker Inrunner brushless motors can be used to direct-drive a speed plane, but are most commonly used with a
gearbox. This combination unleashes the synergy of a very efficient,
high-RPM inrunner teamed with an efficient low-RPM APC electric RC airplane propeller. An outrunner brushless motor has stationary windings at the center, with the outer part of the motor rotating. Like the
inrunner lineup, the outrunner line of Hacker A-series brushless motors contains motors able to power anything from the
smallest 3-6 oz Indoor Slowflyer or Indoor Aerobatic R/C model airplane through to the largest 9-12 lb Sport, Scale, or 3D Aerobatic RC model airplane or electric R C helicopter. Hacker outrunner brushless motors generally offer a simpler, quieter, and cheaper solution, as a gearbox isn't
required and they can be easily mounted to the front or the rear of the aircraft's firewall.
